2가지의 사회적 가치 목표를 가지고 있습니다.

We have two social value-based goals derived from the UN’s SDGs.

#1. 소재 | Material

유기농 순면 | organic cotton

유기농 순면은 농부와 지역 사회의 건강을 위협하고 땅을 황폐화시키는

독성 화학물질 또는 살충제를 사용하지 않고 재배됩니다.

전세계 토양의 1/3이 이미 황폐화되었기에,

우리는 땅을 다시 복원하는데 노력해야 합니다.

We use organic cotton that is grown from non-GMO, untreated seeds.

Toxic fertilizers and pesticides not only harm farmers and local communities,

but also contaminate soil. With an estimated ⅓ of the world’s soil degraded,

we must do our part in supporting its regeneration.

재고 직물 | Deadstock

남은 원단은 오래 지속한 패션 시스템의 결과입니다.

재고 직물은 유기농 순면과 달리 윤리적, 환경적인 소재는 아닐 수 있습니다.

그러나 재고 직물을 사용함으로써, 재고 직물이 매립지로 가는 것을

막고자 합니다.

Deadstock fabrics are leftovers that result from a broken fashion system.
Unlike organic cotton, their materials may not be “ethical” or “eco-friendly.”
However, our decision to use small amounts of deadstock stems from
our desire to repurpose them and keep them from ending up in landfills.

#2. 화학물질 | Chemical substances

우리는 법적으로 금지된 화학 물질의 사용을 제로화하고

의류에서 잠재적으로 유해한 물질의 사용을 제한하기 위해

ZDHC(Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals) 모니터링 제한 물질 목록

(MRSL)을 준수합니다.

We comply with the ZDHC (Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals)’s
MRSL (Manufacturing Restricted Substances List) to
ensure zero use of banned chemicals and restricted use of potentially harmful substances in our clothing.

#3. 패키지 | Packaging

친환경 포장재 ‘종이’ (FSC 인증 종이와 콩기름 인쇄)

Eco-friendly packaging 'paper' (FSC-certified paper and soybean oil printing)

우리는 FSC 인증받은 종이 상자에 콩기름 인쇄로 포장하고 있습니다.

엄격한 책임 하에 관리되는 숲에서 생산된 종이임을 인증하는 동시에 지역 주민과 노동자들의

삶에 도움이 되는 방식으로 운영을 보증하는 FSC 인증 종이를 사용하고,

콩기름 잉크 인쇄로 적은 양의 잉크와 물을 사용합니다.

We use soybean oil printing on our FSC-certified paper boxes.

We use FSC-certified paper, which certifies that the paper comes from forests managed under

strict accountability and guarantees that operations benefit the lives of local people and

workers, and soybean oil ink printing uses less ink and water.

#4. 탄소배출량 점검 | Carbon accounting

현재는 환경부에서 제공하는 ‘폐기’시 발생하는 탄소배출량 기준을 통해,

탄소배출이 절감되는 양을 측정하고 기록합니다.

Toitu Evirocare 글로벌 탄소 프로그램 시스템을 이용해 보다 정밀하게

탄소배출량을 점검하고 온실가스 배출 관리를 위한 미션에 부합할 수 있도록 노력할 예정입니다.

We calculate and record our carbon footprint by the Ministry of Environment’s standards of
carbon emissions from waste. We also plan to join the mission to
reduce greenhouse gas emissions through Toitu Evirocare’s carbon management system.
